PKG brought a class action lawsuit under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”) against Farha Roofing LLC captioned Ford v. Farha Roofing, LLC et al, Case No. 4:23-00653-CV-W-FJG (W.D. Mo.) alleging that they, and related entities, unlawfully delivered telemarketing text messages to class members’ personal cell phones without first obtaining written consent.
After more than a year of litigation and intense negotiations, PKG was able to obtain a settlement of $250,000 on behalf of approximately 5,000 class members who received these text messages. Recently, the Western District of Missouri approved this settlement as fair and reasonable, particularly given the excellent per-person recovery in this settlement. Because of the efforts of Alex Kruzyk and Bryan Giribaldo, these class members will be receiving significant compensation for their claims this fall!
